Reverse Cell Phone Search – Free Or Fee?

March 26th, 2010 by admin

Since the internet service of providing reverse cell phone search free lookups is relatively new, not a lot of people know about it yet. It is however, possible to find a person’s name, address, and other information from public records just by entering a phone number into a reverse cell phone search engine.

There are a couple choices available online when you have a phone number but need to find the name of the person this number is registered to. One choice is the free reverse look up. This is often the first stop for many people when they start out searching. These free services are ok as a starting point. They offer very limited information on a limited database of phone numbers, however. What makes these free directories so limited is the fact that they use only the information in the public domain. This means that no cell phone numbers or unlisted numbers will be available from these free services. The information is also not often updated, so will probably lead to a dead end in your search.

The other option available when searching is to use a specialized online site that maintains a huge database of phone numbers. These databases include nearly 99% of all phone numbers, including cell phone, unlisted, pager, business and toll free numbers. The directories are constantly updated so you can be sure to find only the most current information. These companies pay a large fee to the cellular carriers to have access to their private databases. This is what makes these specialized companies so much more complete in what they can offer than the free sites.

There is a small fee for access to these paid directories, but the small price is well worth the peace of mind they can provide when searching for information. After you enter in the number you wish to search, you will have the option to pay a small one time search fee for only that one phone number, or you can pay slightly more and have access to unlimited searches for the next 12 months.

The report you will receive after your search will include the name, address, relatives, and cellular carrier information of the phone number you have entered. You will receive your report in just seconds.

So, when you need to do a reverse cell phone search, free or fee is up to you. Just be sure to know the differences between the two services.
